Casa de Koshare is an adobe style Bed and breakfast located in historic Corrales, New Mexico.
Corrales is a quiet town that borders the Rio Grande River and has majestic views of the Sandia Mountains. Old Town Albuquerque is 15 minutes to the South and Santa Fe is 45 minutes to the North.
Casa de Koshare is also just minutes from the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta site. Golfers will enjoy the many great courses all seasons of the year. Hikers will enjoy one of the many trails in the Sandia or Jemez mountains and along the Turquoise Trail. Motorcycle riders will enjoy many adventurous day trips. Minutes away from historic Route 66 and local casinos.
Casa de Koshare features traditional territorial architecture tromb walls, vigas, latillas, exposed adobe, skylights, banco style seating, and brick floors.
Guest Rooms:
The Kiva Suite features a Kiva wood-burning fireplace, king size bed, banco style seating, cable TV, an oversized jetted tub, and a double vanity.
The Storyteller Room features a Queen Size bed, small desk, cable TV and private bath. Native American Storyteller figurines complement the room’s theme.
The Warrior Room features a Queen Size bed, cable TV, and a private bath. The room is decorated with pictures of Native American warriors.
The Rusty Gunslinger Room features a king size bed or two twin beds, cable TV and a private bath. The room is decorated with antique western memorabilia.
Warrior Room & Rusty Gunslinger Room may be rented as a two-room suite that share a bathroom.
Breakfast:
A full breakfast is served each morning with a dash of the Southwest.
Traditional and lighter fare is available. Fresh brewed coffee and a variety of teas are ready early in the morning. Our guests are welcome to help themselves to hot water for tea or coffee, snacks, and a guest refrigerator.
Common Areas:
Our indoor area features southwest artwork and furniture, beautiful hand-painted murals, a wood burning kiva fireplace and a big screen TV equipped with Direct TV and VCR. Adjacent to this is our dining area offering coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day.
Outdoors you will find a garden patio area providing a panoramic view of the Sandia Mountains by day and the city lights of Albuquerque by night. Down a short path is our labyrinth (meditation path) for quiet reflections and our outdoor chapel, perfect for small weddings, functions or just more quiet space.
